FTC Finalizes Snapchat Privacy Complaint Settlement

The startup initially settled those charges in May but the FTC didn’t finalize the agreement until this week. Snapchat will be prohibited from misrepresenting its service to users and will be required to operate under stronger privacy policies for the next 20 years.
