Amazon Introduces Echo, a $200 Connected Speaker

Without fanfare, Amazon has rolled out another media gadget: Echo is a $200 connected speaker that looks similar to Sonos’ Play:1 device and also streams digital music. One big difference in the Amazon speaker: It also boasts a Siri-like voice-activated service, which Amazon says you can use to order items from its store and perform other Web activities.
