  1. A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to charge Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson for shooting and killing Michael Brown, the Washington Post reported.
  2. The grand jury's decision is unknown. County officials plan to announce the decision at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

  3. The grand jury has been meeting since August 20 to decide whether Wilson should face charges for killing Brown, a black 18-year-old who was unarmed during the August 9 shooting.
  4. Protesters have been taking to the streets of Ferguson on and off since August. One of their primary demands is an indictment for Wilson.
  5. Law enforcement, including local police and the FBI, are prepared for civil unrest following the grand jury decision.
