Amazon Adds $39 Fire TV Stick to Its Streaming Video Arsenal

Seven months after introducing Fire TV, a streaming video box that competes with boxes from Apple and Roku, Amazon has rolled out the Fire TV Stick, a streaming video dongle aimed at Google’s Chromecast device. Like Chromecast, it is priced below $40 ($39 for Amazon’s, $35 for Google’s*) and lets users stream video from the Internet or “fling” it from their other devices.
