Pinterest Buys Tiny Startup VisualGraph to Analyze People's Pins

Pinterest said today it had bought VisualGraph, a two-person machine vision company that had developed technology around online shopping. Founder Kevin Jing helped develop Google’s first image processing application in 2004. He’ll lead a new visual discovery team at Pinterest to better understand what people are pinning, the company said.
