Former FCC Head Julius Genachowski Goes to Carlyle Group

Julius Genachowski has a new job. The former head of the Federal Communications Commission, who left that post last May, has landed at the Carlyle Group, the Washington, D.C.-based banking/private equity powerhouse. Genachowski will be a managing director at Carlyle, which says he “will focus on investments in global technology, media and telecom, including Internet and mobile.”
