Bezos on Travel Illness: "Galapagos: Five stars. Kidney stones: Zero stars."

A spokesman for Amazon head Jeff Bezos just gave me a statement about the reports that he had been felled by a kidney stone attack on a trip to the Galapagos.

According to Galapagos Digital, the famous techie was flown from a cruise ship by an Ecuadorian navy helicopter to private jet and then was taken to the U.S. for further treatment.

Said the Amazon spokesman:

“I sent this inquiry to Jeff and this is what he sent back: “Galapagos: Five stars. Kidney stones: Zero stars.”

Ok, that’s really funny, considering.

And, as someone who had a scary international health mishap, I salute you, Jeff, and wish you a quick and easy recovery.
