DNAnexus Raises $15M from Google, Claremont

DNAnexus raised a $15 million, Series C round led by Google Ventures, Claremont Creek Ventures, First Round Capital and TPG Biotech. Claremont’s Nat Goldhaber joined the board of the Mountain View company, which provides online tools for managing and analyzing DNA data. DNAnexus CEO Richard Daly said in a statement: “This funding will significantly expand our capacity to support the growing number of commercial and academic labs around the world utilizing our platform.”
