Venture capital firm Accel Partners said today it had named Eric Wolford, a veteran executive of Riverbed Technology, as its newest venture partner. Wolford spent 10 years at Riverbed, most recently as president of its products group, and was last year named to its board of directors. He also sits on the boards of BitTorrent and Jut, both of which are backed by Accel.
