Microsoft Confirms Media Exec Blair Westlake's Departure

Blair Westlake, the longtime executive in charge of Microsoft’s media and entertainment relationships with Hollywood, is leaving, a company spokesperson said. Westlake had a number of duties, including licensing movies and television shows for the various units at the software giant. He came to Microsoft in 2004 and, before that, was a former exec at NBC, Comcast and Universal Studios. Former CBS exec Nancy Tellem is currently president of Microsoft’s entertainment and digital media division.
