White House to Give Healthcare.gov Builder the Boot

The Obama administration will end its deal with CGI Federal, the main contractor responsible for building the bug-laden online health marketplace at the center of the President’s signature legislation, the Washington Post reported. Federal officials determined the company has been ineffective at fixing Healthcare.gov, despite notable performance improvements since the disastrous launch. The government is close to signing a $90 million contract with consulting firm Accenture to take over the job, the newspaper said.
