Steve Moonie

I'm a songwriter from Liverpool now living in the Wirral. Music is my life and this started when I got my first guitar on my 15th birthday.

Aged 16, I was signed to Foul Play Records as singer/songwriter of The Moggs. We released an album through independent music stores across the UK and following that were signed up by Plastic Boot Records, under the name The Moonies, with whom we released three UK singles and an album in Japan. As well as our own headline tours, we also toured the UK with Buzzcocks and had several support slots with other artists from The Libertines to Juliette and The Licks.

Now aged 26, married, and after just having my first child, I'm currently writing songs either to perfom myself or for other artists to cover. Interested? Contact me...
