To go beyond your front door, to experience the vastness of the world, that is what I have done, and that is what I want to share with you. To be a part of an experience that develops your independence and appreciation for people and life is something every young person should be able to enjoy. This was possible through the Gilman International Scholarship which has helped me spread my wings and take a journey to a far away place.
