Lego Castles formed in late 2007 at Bath Spa University after Liam and
Dave had previously been making music together. Since then the band has
set about creating their own brand of 'new wave-indie pop'. The band
incorporate many different styles into their music drawing on bands
such as Los Campesinos!, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Cure. The fusion
of guitar and glockenspiel also brings a fresh edge to their music and
sets them apart from other run of the mill indie bands.
In just a few short months together the band have played a collection of gigs in many different places, recently being crowned runners up in the 2008 South West Student Battle of the Bands competition at Moles Club. The band have also recieved radio play on BBC Bristol and also on Canadian radio.
The bands recently recorded debut EP 'I Have Never Exploded...' is available for streaming on the bands myspace;

"The song ‘Alcohol Induced' was a fantastic indie anthem in the making, both witty and catchy" Antonio Fictitio, Moles Club.
