Life as an INFP
(Intravert, Intuitive, Feeler, Perceiver)

People of this type tend to be quiet, reserved and kind; deeply passionate, sensitive and easily hurt; loving and dedicated to those close to them; creative, original and imaginative; curious and flexible in small matters; nonconforming.

The most important thing to INFPs are their deeply held beliefs and living in harmony with their values.

Great careers for INFPs

Here are just a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is INFP:

Psychologist
Human resources professional
Physical therapist
Researcher
Translator / interpreter
Legal mediator
Employee development specialist
College professor: humanities
Massage therapist
Social worker
Librarian
Fashion designer

I agree with the above for the most part. It is certainly a pretty close interpretation of my personality. I would not be shocked if I went back to school at age 45 and became a therapist, psychologist, or social worker. No more school already!

I find the following a little split, however. There are some sides of myself that are very much extrovert, and other very much introvert. I was split. Maybe it gives me some balance, or shows that I am scattered... in a creative manner.
1.Where is your energy naturally directed?Extraverts' energy is directed primarily outward, towards people and things outside themselves. Introverts' energy is primarily directed inward, towards their own thoughts, perceptions and reactions. Therefore, Extraverts tend to be more naturally active, expressive, social and interested in many things, whereas Introverts tend to be more reserved, private, cautious and interested in fewer interactions -- but with greater depth and focus.
Extraverts often:Have high energyTalk more than listenThink out loudAct, then thinkLike to be around people a lotPrefer a public roleCan sometimes be easily distractedPrefer to do lots of things at onceAre outgoing and enthusiasticIntroverts often:Have quiet energyListen more than talkThink quietly inside their headsThink, then actFeel comfortable being alonePrefer to work behind the scenesHave good powers of concentrationPrefer to focus on one thing at a timeAre self-contained and reserved  Extravert (E)   or     Introvert (I)

I am easily distracted and often prefer a public role. =Extravert

I prefer to concentrate on one thing at a time & think, then act=Introvert
