I have created this blog so that friends and family can tag along with Derek and I on our "Great Adventure"...a whole year travelling Asia! 

During our travels, it will be comforting to know that those who love us most will be with us in spirit...awareness of your "virtual presence" in our lives will help us to endure the fact that you are in actuality very far away. So visit our blog often, leave messages whenever you can and be patient awaiting responses. Access to the internet may be sketchy and limited to larger centres but know that no matter how far off the beaten track we may be, you are always with us in our hearts.
