WHY?

In a moment of curiosity, I decided to see what the Internet verdict is on GW's presidency. 

I'm going to try to post items on the days they occurred.  Once I think I've got that under control, I'll start working up some monthly and annual summaries.

I'm just extremely curious how it looks when you lay it out somewhat objectively, as opposed to what I think I know and am remembering....

General Approach 

I'm going to work on sketching in what I remember first -- that means a fair amount of focus on the early scandals, in the short term, then trying to move forward somewhat chronologically.

Think I missed something (scandal or no)?  Kindly post your sources -- I'll take a look at them and add them to the main post if I think they're particularly relevant.  One of the difficulties with going back in time like this is that it increases the likelihood I'll inadvertently overlook things.  I have some strategies I hope will help to avoid that, but other help is always nice too.
