Hi. A warning: I'm one of those obscenely happy people who has a pretty rich life. I love my husband, my friends and my clients. Through many misadventures, I have settled upon a gentle life and a fulfilling career that is nothing less than extraordinary.

First off, I feel so lucky to be a real estate agent in San Francisco. The people are cool, the houses are beautiful and everytime I help someone find a place to call their very own, I get chills. It's really a f8#*king amazing job! I take on just 8 clients a year to make room for my life and theirs. I don't have a team of people who answer the phone for me. I call you back, I go to the inspections, I give you the keys. It's personal service that works for my lifestyle and allows me to listen better, pay closer attention, and enjoy our time together. It's business with intention.

I decided to drive less, so starting in 2008 my clients will be driven around in a Zip Car or, and this is the crazy part, tool around on a bike with me. Why not explore a neighborhood and open houses by bike?

Most importantly, I've learned to slow down. By slowing down, the golden light of the sunset is deeper, the smile on a client's face when she buys her first house is wider, my hope for a better Tenderloin is unwavering, Cowgirl Creamery cheese is tastier and ohh, my want of a rug from Peace Industry is stronger. 

So, this blog will be about my life and my work. I dedicate it to Eric Rodenbeck who encourages me to be me.
