I'm Christina. I'm a relatively typical teenage girl with a shoe fetish, obsession with cats, and insane hormones. I tend to complain a lot, as reading my blog will tell you, but I do enjoy life in general. I've been in a relationship with Joseph F. for more than a year now, and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm a freshman at the University of Montevallo in Alabama with a major in History.
The story behind my username (marshmallow) and the picture above is thus: after coming home from a Gulf Shores trip in the summer of 2006, my mom and I heard what we thought was a car alarm going off up the street. My dad thought it was a cat, and lo and behold, he came back to our house after a few minutes outside with a big bite mark on his hand and told us about a little Siamese he'd picked up and was now on the porch. We brought his terrified self in somehow (probably bribing him with food or something) and after a while he calmed down.
We named him Marshmallow because he looked like a toasted marshmallow, and now he's huge and actually not a Siamese, but a Snowshoe-- a mix of Siamese and American Shorthair (I think). This picture was taken when we first got him. And the black cat below him is Baby, his best friend (they still cuddle together...aww).
Like I said, obsessed with cats...
