President Sally

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  I got my first ferret for Christmas at age 12.  I named him Sparks.  At this point in life I didn't know how ferrets would change my world.

I had 2 years of bliss with Sparks.  He was a cuddly ferret.  One morning I awoke to a lifeless Sparks.  I panicked and started CPR.  I didn't realize that he was just tired and not dead.  My chest compressions were a little too rough and I killed him.

We had a graveside service for Sparks.  After we all told of our fond memories of the little ferret my Mom sang, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again".  Since this day I made a promise to myself that I would be there for other ferret lovers that had loved and lost.  This is how I became the President of the Utah Ferrets Association.
