About Me
J-Treole formed in late 2005. The band instantly connected via their
love of all things alternative.... from Jazz to HipHop to Punk to
Electronic.
2006 and 2007 has seen the band perform their "unique blend of Jazz-Hop" regularly in venues throughout London (incl. Dingwalls w/ Omar, The Fly, Proud Galleries) and Cambridge (incl. The Junction, Queens College w/ The Klaxons & Shlomo, Anglia Ruskin University w/ Alex Zane) , receiving great reviews along the way.
Barfly recently described the band as "....THE most amazing indie hip hop jazz hot sauce the UK has to offer...".
Music-Zine (August 2006) on reviewing one of their live shows: "Great musicians with consistently good songs that sounded their own" "J-Treole brought their blend of fresh and funky jazz-hop with a slick set that went down a storm"
2007 promises to be an exciting year for J-Treole with the release of their debut EP scheduled for Spring.
