Poppy Montage

If you haven't guessed, my name is Poppy Montage and this is my Blog post. I'm not exactly sure what I want to put on this, but definitely I want to put an advice column. I have gotten random emails from strangers over the months (for some reason I tend to attract those people) and I want to post my response in hopes that someone out there who is suffering from the same problem may find solution in my words... that or just entertainment, both of which I wouldn't mind.
 
Also, since I am Los Angeleno extraordinaire (cue fanfare) I am thinking of putting up a best of column. You people think that there's nothing to bomb in the good ol' City of Angel? Wrong! Many people underestimate Los Angeles as a "nothing to see" city. But if you ask any Angeleno (and Orange County, might I add) you will find millions of activities.

So email me with suggestions of a place and a problem!

Oh wait, I need an "about me" portion, huh? Silly goose. As stated, my name is Poppy Montage. When I was young I hated the sound of my name. In fact I was always teased because I was a young man with a flower name. My parents were hippies, what do you expect them to name me, "Theodore"? Now as I grow older and more secure, I actually like saying my name... besides don't you like saying Poppy Montage? Say it with me: Poppy Montage, Poppy Montage. My name is a mantra to itself!
Okay, ending the self-delusion. I am a columnist. At least I aspire to be one. My writing skills are more than half perfunctory, but I think I give pretty good advice. And so an advice columnist is born!
