Work & Play: Filmmaking is my life and deepest love. I found my way to her in my mid 20s, and it the absolute root of trial and satisfaction for me. Each day I spend shooting, diagnosing, or drooling with cameras is a day in Narnia for me.  I am a camera op for life and a bit of a mad-hatter when it comes to new tech, people.

I have a serious case of nerd-ery; Battlestar Galactica, M*A*S*H and CSI top my tv 'to-dos' week to week. Lawrence of Arabia is my favorite film - and yes I cry every single time.  There are many reasons I became a cinematographer, but this film reminds me, never failing to bring back that sparked emotion - 'yeah, this is it.'

I'm a travel nut and a history buff.  Whether it's Western Europe of WWII, I am obsessed with the past and societies gone by.  My goal as a filmmaker is to tell stories that have already been written by those before us.
