My name is Greg Wilson and I'm seventeen years old. I was born on September 9, 1989 in Jellico, Tennessee. I have lived in Tennessee my whole life. I attended Caryville Elementary School from kindergarten until the beginning of my fifth grade year, in which I was then transferred to West Lafollette Elementary School. I then attended Jacksboro Elementary School for my second year in fifth grade.
In middle school, I attended Lafollette Middle School for my sixth grade year, I then transferred to Jacksboro Middle School for my seventh grade school year, and finally I returned back to Lafollette Middle School to complete my eighth grade year. I then started attending Campbell County High School in the year 2004. I successfully completed grades nine and ten, and I'm now in eleventh grade for the 2006 and 2007 school year.
On September 11, 2001, I was in sixth grade, which is when terrorists attacked the United States by flying airplanes into the World Trade Centers in New York. On November 8, 2005, I was in tenth grade and unfortunately there was a school shooting at Campbell County High School at which time, Principle Gary Seale, Assistant Principle Jim Pierce, and Assistant Principle Ken Bruce were all shot. Fortunately, Mr. Gary Seale and Mr. Jim Pierce are now better and are back at school, but unfortunately, Assistant Principle Mr. Ken Bruce didn't survive through the shots which he was hit by. The weird thing is, I missed my school bus the morning of the shooting and my mother was extremely sick and was unable to get out of bed to take me to school, so I stayed home from school that day. Hearing the news about the shooting was absolutely shocking to me, I was amazed at what I had heard.
Some of my hobbies include Web Design, Traveling, and Criminal Justice. I can say I'm happy for myself thus far, for getting myself this far in school. Also, my family and the most wonderful love of my life is very important to me.
Now that I've reached one of my goals of joining and successfully completing JROTC, I plan to successfully complete my Criminal Justice courses and high school. After successfully completing high school, I plan to attend a college persue a degree in Criminal Justice.
