At age 22 I've moved out of my parents house to transfer to a new university, and thus have embarked on a journey of culinary proportions. You see, I come from a family of 5 kids - including 3 teenage boys. I grew up cooking high volumes of food with my mom, so when I moved out I discovered just how difficult it is to transition from planning and cooking a meal for 7 people, to just 1. I searched the internet for a blog with a focus on busy college students cooking from scratch for one or two people. Alas, I found none. So Cooking for 1 was born in an attempt to chronicle my lessons in cooking for just one person.
