i hate these profile biography things. i can make a list of what i like and don't like, but to actually write in complete sentences about myself, that's a bit of a chore. so i'm going to keep this simple: i am a biracial (black/white) middle aged single female who lives in the midwest and is in the midst of deciding if i want to go back to school and earn some sort of graduate degree in philosophy or religion. meanwhile, i work in a library, which while there are aspects about the job that are painful and times i feel woefully underemployed, is the perfect place for me to work. i have direct access to whatever i want to read when i want to read it, and if it's not on the shelves here, i can get it from practically anywhere else. it's an almost perfect job for an aspiring philosopher. if only it weren't for all the politics and bullsh*t, but i'm digressing. actually i've probably already said too much.
