A lifelong Reagan Republican with a smattering of libertarian thrown in for good measure. Oh, this conservative is becoming increasingly disenchanted with how the so-called "elected Republican leadership" are leading the party down the path of left-wing mediocrity. In my case I believe the GOP got its' butt kicked in '06 by being too liberal; not too conservative!

Now if the grassroots can only convince the party leaders of this.....
