About Me
Viv
I've never done this blog thing before and think it's kind of silly, so pardon me, please, if I seem like I really don't care.

Before you read my little bio, I have to tell you that when I wrote this, there were actual paragraphs, but when I posted it they went away. Now, I'll try and keep this short, because I'm sure you really don't care about my life story (though it is fairly interesting, at least that's what people tell me).
I'm 25 and have one sister and three step-brothers. While raising my sister and I, my mom probably employed some of the most unusual parenting techniques in the world, but they worked pretty well and we have a good relationship. I'm telling you this because I've realized--like every woman eventually does--that I'm slowly turning into my mother. This, I've decided, is not a bad thing.
What else... A certain friend of mine describes me as a "half-breed," though I'm really so much more than that. Ethnicities I'm comprised of: African-American, Spanish, French, Italian, Irish, Scottish and it's rumored that there's some East-Asian floating around on my dad's side of the family. Result: everyone thinks I'm either Mexican or Persian. Personally, I don't think Persians and Mexicans look much alike but, whatever.
I have a journalism degree from Columbia College, but I'm currently working on a campaign in Illinois' 11th Congressional District (Note to the residents of the 11th District: The 11th District is made up of Will, LaSalle, Grundy, Bureau, Kankakee and McLean counties. If you live in one of those counties and you're unsatisfied with what Mr. Weller is doing as your representitive to the rest of the country visit www.pavichforcongress.com and read a bit about what John Pavich wants to do for you).
