I am alive. Remarkable, huh? Same-Sex marriage legal (cross fingers that it will continue) and Obama getting the nomination? Obviously, I was shocked into silence. Good shock. But silent shock. So woohoo and all that. What an understatement.

I'm deathly afraid of flying in airplanes. This is an ok fear to live with since I don't typically fly anywhere. But now, my new employer wants me to fly to San Fransisco to take over (crack a whip?) some work from a 3rd party developer group that is dragging their heels on a web portal they are...
