I'm on the beautiful, and supposedly eternally sunny island of Hvar now. It's been raining on and off all day today, but it doesn't detract from it's beauty, just makes it a little bit more slippery! The pavement is all shiny polished stones, and I'm so glad that I put my good walking shoes on today...

So I'm in Dubrovnik now, which Lord Byron called the ˝Pearl of the Adriatic˝ (I think) and it really is quite beautiful. It's so different from Budapest, Sarajevo and Mostar, because it doesn't have any Turkish or Austrian influence in its architecture. Apparently the Venetians influenced the main...
