This is just the best kids' book ever. I love it so much. We actually got this book from the zoo in Syracuse last time we went to visit the in-laws. The artwork is beautiful. It's sweet without being sickening. And best of all, Lu now leans in for hugs and kisses with every turn of the page. Awwww.

Well, I got the mail today and I received one postcard back acknowledging the publisher has received my manuscript. I also received a rejection letter (!) from an agent. I'm pretty excited. Not only am I one rejection letter closer to becoming published but it was actually a LETTER. No generic...
