Good morrow to you my freaky little darlings, if indeed there are any of you still reading. I’m currently experiencing a guilt trip brought on my incredibly lax attitude in keeping in contact with my blog/youtube/vloggerheads/internet in general friends.
I realise I suck and I’m sorry. I have several excuses but all would seem lame I imagine.

I’ve been doing that thing I so often do when I’m feeling down or stressed, that thing that involves me withdrawing from human contact.
Unfortunately there is one more thing that goes along with the feeling and that’s the inclination to devour every ounce of sin food within my reach.
I feel fat, hideous and pissed right off.

Let’s hope that passes with haste.

In other news, one of my very good friends and readers of this ‘ere blog is soon to, or has maybe already given birth. I just wanted to put a little something on here to say to you Mali, my thoughts are with you and your fam and I really hope all is going well for you guys.

Hmm hubby just phoned me to tell me about a webcam.. I have two already! I should take him up on the offer right? I think I just might.

For those who haven’t seen the latest addition to the living canvas that is my skin…

There it is. I love it muchly but am a tad worried about it’s healing.
It doesn’t help of course that yesterday while putting on my bra, I happened to drag the strap full force across the tattoo ripping off a large chunk of scabbing, it hurt like a MF and proceeded to ooze unmentionables for the rest of the day.
In the places where the scab came off the ink doesn’t look as black as it should either. Hmmph.

On the subject of tattoos, I never thought I’d say it but I feel as though I’m nearly done with them. It still remains to get the girls on my back coloured and I would like to get some text across the bottom of my back.. but aside from that.. I’ve feel I’ve finished.
They seem to hurt more now aswell, I’m not sure if it’s because of skin changes or just because I’m turning soft and my tolerance for pain isn’t so high.

What does one write on themselves in a textual tattoo though? It’s hard to come up with something short, sweet and meaningful that you want on your bod for ever.
I love the Jim Morrison quote.. ‘No one here gets out alive’ but right at the top of my butt? I think not. I may aswell get a little man clambering out of my arse crack looking worried.
Starry quotes are good. For instance …

I feel that one. I’d always the one to see good in others and to remain positive about most situations.
Ok.. at the moment I’m on a downer but y’know, occasionally shit happens.
I like this too…

The stars, that nature hung in heaven, and filled their lamps with everlasting oil, give due light to the misled and lonely traveller.

Just the very thought of the stars being being fuelled by everlasting oil. I dunno, it appeals to me but is rather too long for a tattoo I think.

When I first heard that I thought it was wonderful, now I think it’s overused tripe.

My writing sucks today, I can’t be arsed to think of pretty words or flowing seques… I’m just bleh.

Four appointments coming up.. Dentist for me. Hospital for Sam. Dentist for me again. School review of special needs for Sam.
*Sighs* I know, I know.. things could be worse but hmmph, I just want to be left alone by those people.

Good news though… THE WOOD WANG WORKSHOP IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
I managed to create the website all by my ownself and get it up and running, (go me!) and we have made our first official sale.
Yesterday hubby and I spent the best part of five hours adding a shop to the site so now you can order right there.

An interesting trend

If you've been around me for a while you will have discovered I like this guy:

Wentworth miller

He's cute and all, but mostly I like his character...the tattooed one from Prison Break. Turns out the tattoo's are important. Random tattoo's not so much, but ones that have meaning; ones that are incurred in the fight for justice, ones that show that the person isn't just a self satisfied jock, those are cool.. more than that...attractive to me. Especially if they are paired with a man who's fighting for justice against all odds. Willing to lay down his life for someone else.
I found this out because my brother (shakes fist in a loving way) got me into the Sarah Connor Chronicles and I'm finding myself drawn to this guy:

Which is odd, since I never cared for him back in the 90210 days (I admit...I watched in college). I think it has to do with the kind of character, and the tattoos. So intelligent, independant, wounded, fighting something that may be a loosing battle, marked with the scars and signs of battle physically and emotionally, having something bigger than ones own self to live for, compassionate are things I am attracted to.
Hmm.
I wonder why.
Never thought of this before.
