If they expected us to retire quietly from the scene, the political elite are in for a surprise.

Today I am making some very big announcements.

First, from August 31 to September 2 in Minneapolis, we will host a handful of events that will shake the political establishment. Everything will culminate on Tuesday with the official launch of the Campaign for Liberty at the Rally for the Republic.

The Campaign for Liberty will be the largest organization for peace, freedom, the Constitution, and sound money in American history. It will launch in grand fashion with lots of special guests and - if the early television and print inquiries we’ve received are any indication - plenty of media attention.

I would like to personally invite you and your family to join me and thousands of others in Minneapolis for these events and send a message to the Republican Party.

Tickets will go on sale for the Rally for the Republic this Friday, July 25 @ 10AM CST. We want this to be an unforgettable day, so we are holding a ticket bomb all day Friday in the tradition of our famous money bombs. How many seats can we sell on the first day?

This leads me to the second big announcement. After measuring the excitement and enthusiasm, we decided that the Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota was just too small to hold you. Therefore, we are making a significant upgrade. The Rally for the Republic will now take place at the Target Center, the largest arena in Minneapolis!

This promises to be the most spirited and provocative political event of the year! We held some very large rallies during the presidential campaign, but I have never attempted anything of this scale before. Its success rests entirely in your hands.

Later this week I will announce two internationally renowned musicians as headliners for the Rally for the Republic. We’ll also be joined by rock star Aimee Allen, NBC’s Tucker Carlson, Barry Goldwater Jr., Gov. Gary Johnson, conservative stalwart Grover Norquist, former Reagan deputy Attorney General Bruce Fein, presidential historian Doug Wead, MTV’s Adam Curry, musician Mark Scibilia, and Frank Sinatra impersonator Rick Ellis. Other special guests will be announced soon.

Ron Pauls video back in May on Youtube sums up the quite illusionary vision that people have about this man... The facale idea that Paul is fortelling a future run by the constitution, free of big government is laughable frankly... I understand peoples desire for a change, but the reality is that Paul has become a millionaire out of this debacle... He does not care about real freedom and is taking clear advantage of people that are more intelligent han this toss pot will ever give them credit for...

I've been having a hard time getting aclimated to this world of cyber-journaling.  There seem to be a lot of things I want to say that I don't want viewable to everyone.  If I don't know you, I couldn't care less; unfortunately it's the people I do know that I'm worried about.  I say "unfortunately" not merely because I have personal secrets to share that I wouldn't post on, say, facebook for all to see (I do have some of those) but mostly because I have things to say about the people I know sometimes and I can't.  Is this terrible of me?  I thought I had more integrity...

It might be good to illustrate this with an example.  A few weeks back, on my other blog, I posted a political rant spawned by a conversation I had with my boss and others who I was dissappointed to find out are much more apathetic to freedom and liberty than I could stand at that particular moment.  Of course, I didn't let my boss know how shocked I was by his ignorance about what was going on in our country; I was cordial and unargumentative, (as was he; he was just clueless)!  Anywho, I vented through the blog.

A few days later a close friend, who happens to be an Obama supporter, posted a comment about how she was probably my arch enemy now since I support Ron Paul so strongly.  I replied back to her letting her know that Obama was my second choice (to Paul) at one time.  I also shared my great dissatisfaction with all the dirt I keep hearing on Obama and how bogus the neo-con-media is about this.  I told her about a video clip my husband, Ben, had sent to him from a close coworker, which was your basic anti-Obama bullshit!  It showed a clip of an Ann Coulture interview where she kept saying 'B. Hussein Obama' every 5 seconds and the interviewer was like, "Why do you keep calling him that?" and she goes, "Because that's his name".  What the hell right?!  I'm a republican, but neo-con Ann Coulture types make me wish I wasn't.  Yeah, let's use his NAME to strike-up fear in the hearts of Americans, just like we did with the "War on Terror".  "Oh! He has a familiar, dislikeable Muslim name."  Get a clue people!

So, I posted my distaste concerning the matter only to find out later that day that my husband's coworker that had sent us that garbage in the first place had also read my post (but hopefully hadn't read the comment in which I wrote blatently about my distaste with the clip he had sent us).  Ben had just added a link to he and his wifes blog to mine, a detail I had forgotten when I responded to my friend's comment.

I ended up hiding the post.  (I should probably mention that a few of my coworkers had access to the blog through facebook and I was therefore wary word might get back to my boss).

So what's the deal here?  Should I have not been ashamed by what I believe even if it offended one of Ben's friends?  Should I not care what these people think?  I feel like blogging is making me emotionally constipated.  I have so much to share but I feel stuck.  I think this is why I started this new blog in the first place; pretty much nobody I know knows about it.

Barney Frank is a man of courage.

He is sponsoring legislation in Congress to allow for the medical use of marijuana, and to strip the federal government of their power to criminalize the possession and use of pot by adults.

In the video below, provided by Tom Gregory at Huffington Post, Congressman Barney Frank explains that smoking marijuana should be a personal choice and not illegal and he explains the importance of his "make room for serious criminals bill" that he penned with Ron Paul.

Talk Show Host Calls for Murder of Anti War Activist

I don't swear that often but I have to say this man is a ass hole. He has no idea what the heck he is talking about. How dare you call for 9/11 truthers deaths? My death! I would not wish this on any American (unless they raped or took someone's life, ect.)! This is insane! I can see why he is mad about it. He is blinded by his own "patriotism". But this is unacceptable! And to say that Ron Paul supporters went to go support the 9/11 Truth Movement! That is not even true! True there are Ron Paul supporters that are also 9/11 truthers but lots of them are not. How dare you! Ron Paul is not a 9/11 truther at all! If my memory serves me, this man is also a Christian. My brother in Christ! He has asked for my death! America has not arrived  Mr. Michael Reagan, we are not the "free, Christian, conservative, democracy" that is on a hunt for evil in the world. Mr. Reagan maybe you should read 2 Timothy 1:13, "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived" This is no way for a Christian, a follower of Christ to act! Sir you don't have to believe 9/11 was an inside job but I do ask you look into the camp's beliefs before you call us traitors and call for are deaths. America has not arrived  Mr. Reagan and its time you accept that.

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects religious freedom, guarantees free speech, freedom of the press and assembly and the right to petition the government.

Publicly threatening to murder someone is a crime.

But many Americans today are frustrated. The political choices they are offered give them no real choice at all. For all their talk of “change,” neither major political party as presently constituted challenges the status quo in any serious way. Neither treats the Constitution with anything but contempt. Neither offers any kind of change in monetary policy. Neither wants to make the reductions in government that our crushing debt burden demands. So I'm sitting here watching the returns from the Puerto Rico Democratic primary, just like I was watching the DNC rules committee yesterday decide what to do about Michigan and Florida. Now, I realize that if you go by the rules and the numbers, that it is more or less impossible for Hillary Clinton to get the nomination. However, her supporters it seems will stop at nothing, including a floor fight at the convention, to get it for her, and she all but outright encourages their despicable and divisive behavior. Just watch the DNC rules committee proceedings from yesterday; it's disgusting. But that's not what this entry is about, I just find it necessary to indict them for their behavior before I get to the point.

The point? Let's just play with the unlikely hypothetical that Hillary Clinton gets the Democratic nomination and it doesn't destroy the party such that McCain wins. Right now, either Democratic candidate leads McCain in the polls, so maybe it's not a total long shot there. So let's just say for the moment that Hillary Clinton becomes president. That would make the presidents in my lifetime go as follows:

I found this video online last night and it really spoke to me. I always considered myself a Democrat, but I've been giving serious thought to voting for Ron Paul. I find his ideas refreshingly different from the mainstream, and I like his return to the old values our country was founded on. My main question about voting for him is the ever present "elect ability" issue. I believe that if more people had been able to hear his message and consider him they might have been surprised by what they saw, but he was written off by the mainstream media and virtually ignored.

Interestingly he has been in the news because his book "The Revolution" just topped the New York Times Bestseller list.

Anyway, at the very least, the commercial has some pretty awesome CGI so it's worth a watch.

Alright, it's fairly late and I'm struggling for something to blog about that interests me.  I have thought about several topics but can't decide which one to focus on.

With the election in November and the Obama/Clinton battle raging full force politics are always a good subject.  Along with religion we are never supposed to talk about it in good company.  It can cause arguments and many people will dislike you.  That's alright with me since I striving for the "long tail" anyway.

Besides this I'm out of the election.  I am going to go to the polls, write in Ron Paul, vote against any bond measures or new taxes and then go home and:

• Write in my blog
• Add content to my website
• click on the links to other people's websites on my website
• work on my business

Not too exciting.  I could talk about religion, another of my favorite subjects, but my views are fairly mundane on that as well.  I consider myself spiritual but I like to keep my religious views to myself.  All the sport from talking about religion comes from trying to convince everyone else that you have the correct secret to eternal life and happiness. (If I remember South Park correctly, the proper choice is Mormon!)  It will usually get a conversation going but then some fanatic will be looking to get 72 or 74 or whatever virgins and they will stab me in the street and leave me dying to prove their love of God.  Yep, religion is definitely out.

I know, I can tell everyone that they can have what ever they want in life merely by thinking about it in the right way.  All those rich people...the Rothschild's, the Kennedy's, the Pope and now the Bush family have known this secret all along.  That is why they are so rich!  In fact, they have been hiding the secret knowledge from us all these years.  I should also make it known that the Knight's Templar and Opus Dei have been tasked with concealing this secret for thousand's of years.

There is hope however.  Bill Gates accidentally sent an e-mail to Warren Buffett that was leaked to a man named Byron, who lives in an apartment in Queens.  He normally sells these secrets to the rich and powerful for millions of dollars.  In fact, you have to make an appointment to see him.  This week only however, you can get access to the secret key to millions of dollars for only $59.00.
