Daybroke - 'Killing Time' - Tell us what you think of the song

'Killing Time' is one of those songs which almost wrote itself during an inspiring rehearsal of the band.
The band was jamming along to a bouncy riff and singer Tom came up with the melody and line:
'I trust you on this case, more than I trust myself today I found the real thing"
Which set the tone for the rest of the lyrics.
The song is about trying to find a balance between risk and reward...

Natasha Shneider Celebration Concert

On Saturday August 16th at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, Queens of the Stone Age will perform a concert in celebration of the life of Natasha Shneider.

QOTSA will be accompanied by friends PJ Harvey, Jack Black + Kyle Gass, Matt Cameron, Brody Dalle, Jesse Hughes, Billy F. Gibbons, Chris Goss, and Alain Johannes, who will help them perform songs from the limits of the QOTSA catalog and beyond.

Proceeds from the event will go to defray the costs associated with Natasha’s battle with cancer.
Tickets are $100 and go on sale this Saturday, July 19th @ Ticketmaster (click HERE)

Share some music time

Queens of the Stone Age has become one of my all-time favorite bands. TOOL, A Perfect Circle, LiVE, Queen, and QotSA. Live was not on my list for a while, but after getting to see them perform at Bayfest, it reminded me of why I loved them so much.

Since people tend to share music on here, I'm going to share some QotSA with you all.

"Better Living Through Chemistry" is off of their second album, Rated R (2000). QotSA tends to make one long, anthem-like song each album, and this is one of them.
