"Pray to God that I don't meet any cute young guys there, since...well, as I'm going to be dressed as a male character, that could evolve into some yaoi scenes...and while I hope that I do get to kiss a guy someday, I definitely don't want it to be some otaku at an anime con who, given the circumstances, is almost definitely gay...
It occurs to me that one cute young guy is going to be there, dressed as a character from Naruto, and will probably be hanging near me for most of the con: my best friend, Fein. Which means that my chances of finding a guy will go from slim to none, since almost everyone assumes that we're dating.
I'm too young for guys, anyway.

So, I'm going to the Kumoricon this year (I'm not going to bother with the peripherals - go to the official website for details) as Sabaku no Gaara, the sand-shaping hottie from Naruto. I've seen lots of pictures from previous cons, so I'm going to bring my camera. Actually, I'm going to forget to bring my camera, since I always forget it whenever I need it most.
*sigh*
The costume that I bought was the full shebang: clothing, gourd, headband, shoes and even three kunai and a shuriken! (Huzzah for sharp and pointy things!) Anyway, since I've done this, I've officially evolved into a full-on otaku. He's probably coming too, as Ed from FullMetal Alchemist, so that's fun.
