What do you think...fancy enough for a ritzy-glitzy wedding? My husband has a co-worker who's getting married this month. It's an evening wedding. I'll post another dress tomorrow and you can help me decide between the two. (My hubby votes for this one.)

What a 4 day weekend can do to a sewing nut!

So I got a lot done this weekend . . here's what I have been working on!

Pics as promised earlier!

This dress is a work in progress, I got inspired after watching a few old audrey movies, whipped this out and then wasn't sure I liked it something about it is not sitting well,

I am thinking about converting it into a shirt and pairing it with a cute pair of white cigarette style capris'

Then I created two skirt pattern's (actions shots for the Pixie/petal in a PP post)

So here's my renamed Pixie skirt . .lifeless on a hanger! Which I will be modifying this week:

And here is my Wrap Around Twirl skirt:
Don't pay any attention to the lovely strawberry shortcake fabric This is strictly a prototype, as I am not really into cartoon chracter clothing, (only at a very special request ) But I got as much fabric at wally world as I could when it was 75% off!

Here's another retro inspired top!

and a little polkadot boutique number I did

. . I was dying to use that fabric it was a walmart find too . . .great thing about this is it can be worn as seperates! . .
