Heavy Load (Strive2Be's Blog)

The last few days have placed a real heavy load on me, and I went beserk. Too many BAD things happening at once. But, hey, that's the way my life has always been.

I don't want to be mad at the devious, contemptable, deceptive behavior of some of the people reading my Blog. It'll take awhile, but I'll get my mojo back, as Ninja says. Lol.

My Blog is going back to being non-personal now. It will be the way it was meant to be. Something to listen to, look at, think about, laugh. I'm out of the picture other than answering Question of the Day or Tags or VOX Hunts, etc. Otherwise, I'm not saying "boo" about my life on here. I think that is the safe way to go. Besides, this Blog was never MEANT to be about me. I don't know how it got off track.

I went crazy last night and deleted a ton of people from MY neighborhood, and blocked most of the people who had me in THEIR neighborhood. I can unblock the people who have me as a neighbor, but I can't do anything about the people who were in MY neighborhood. Obviously, if you can read and respond to this posting, then you were not one of the people I deleted. If you want to come back, please email me and I'll add you again.

I apologize for all the NOISE yesterday. I was VERY upset, and I still do not know how anyone could have known I was on a Blog and what my Username is. I can count in one hand how many people know that I Blog, but I don't tell them with which company or my Username. And instead of these people coming forward and saying, "Hi"....they remain silent....so obviously they couldn't care less about all the fun we were having at first with my Blog....but wanted to be underhanded and spy on my life. Well, that's over. The Blog is going back to the way it used to be. Seriously, it was a whole heck of a lot more fun and entertaining finding items for you and also posting photos, etc in the Groups that I belong to.

So.....if you discover that you aren't in my Blog anymore, just email me (or message me), and I'll add you back. I want my old Blog back again...with the people who are NICE.

As for the people that have me in their neighborhood, I'll start unblocking you now. I apologize to you all. I just didn't know what to do. I felt extremely violated, and I just started getting rid of everybody. I'm sorry. I'm not going to let these hypocrites ruin my little world that we all helped to build here. This used to be a good Blog at one time, wasn't it?

I also have two ideas for Groups that I might start. I like the ideas, but I'll let you all know when I get my personal Blog back and running.

Thanks for sticking by me. Yes, privacy seems to be very important to us all. But if I just may say this:

TO THE ONES WHO CAUSED ALL THIS RUCKUS, CAN YOU PLEASE LEAVE. YOU DON'T BELONG HERE.

Growing into a little man

My sweet puppy Peyton is growing like a weed. He's 8 weeks old now and weighs 11 pounds. While I love him to death, we are having some issues. He's a biter (which is expected in puppies I know) so we're working on that. And when I say he bites I mean he will take your hand off!!! I thought my biggest concern would be house training but that is going very well.

However, this fierce puppy is deathly afraid of the vacuum cleaner! This is all you could see this past weekend when I was cleaning the house. He eventually fell asleep there

And while we enjoy going outside in the backyard, he always keeps his eyes on me to make sure that I'm still out there with him. We're working our way up to the front yard. There are scary cars and too many other things. He's afraid of most things outside but he rules inside the house!! (only when the vacuum cleaner is safely put away in the closet)

Good news: I have some pictures of CUTE native animals today! Enjoy Friends! This is from when Mr. Lavender and I visited Northwest Trek. An animal park I have visited many times on field trips as a child. I always loved this park. it is HUGE. Very few animals in small cages, mostly a chunk of land with animals living inside. But most of the park is open land for so many native deer, goats, and birds to just live. You get on a three car Tram that drives through this land for an hour. You look into the woods and try to find the animals living there. If you have good eyes, go in the first car to alert the driver who speaks about what kinds of animals live there and how they live. It is all very interesting. I LOVE it! We had a great time.
Bad news, I had to stop working with Lucy on our book. My anxiety was so bad that I found taking pictures becoming a chore rather than a thrill. Photography has been an activity that opened my eyes, helped me breathe, and showed me all the beauty of the world. leisurely thing for me to do. While working on this project I started only looking for things that might work for the book rather than all the beauty the world has to offer. I started feeling anxious when Ruby was in hand, that has always been the opposite. I stopped enjoying the photographic journey. This is a huge problem for me because Ruby was my anti anxiety pill, she was my anti depressant. Through her lens I see a different world, magical. I feel that sometimes I can see the magic in the photos themselves. That makes me so happy, and that is enough for me. I really asked myself hard critical questions, looking at my photos in the file for use in the book. I see how much I have grown since taking those photos, and have continued to grow. The photos are very amateurish, honestly they are. There are so many technical mistakes that need correcting, and many were taken with my old camera and I cropped them so close that they will never look good in print. I feel that Lucy's poetry deserves more than that. I do not have that yet. That is okay, it is still early in my photography journey. I start a new class in the Fall, hoping to learn more about composition and lighting.
I feel horrible about not being honest with Lucy or myself through this journey. I let us both down. I said yes to this project because I was flattered, but did not ask myself honestly if I was truly ready for this kind of commitment, and professional quality. Both answers are a No, I am not ready. I wanted to be, but that does not matter. If you want to be ready and force it, it never really works out. I have to wait until I am ready, and I may never be ready for this kind of project. I need to be happy with what I have, a great camera and beauty around every corner.
I wish Wonderful things For Lucy, she truly is a talented poet who taught me a lot during this process. I am sorry I could not hold the same professional attitude for her as she held for me. I tried and failed, she deserves more. ;-)
So that said, I will post photos on my blog. And for me, that really is enough.
Thank you all for so much support and so many lovely comments on my photos. It adds so much richness to my life, it really does. Thank You!

Enjoying the Long Weekends.

Two reports, and a lot of papers to finish, I spent my four-day weekend devoting the half of it to school work, and the other half, pure leisure. I wasn't able to watch Jay, so (in replacement to my list), I enjoyed an animated movie marathon instead! Lol.

Kung Fu Panda [Blu-ray]

Kung Fu Panda was a blast. I loved it. It was really funny, and Jack Black's voice was perfect for Po's character. It's just sad that I wasn't able to catch this on the big screen. It's all about following your dreams and believing in yourself, no matter how impossible your dream is. It's still better than just going through your life without even trying to achieve it. :)

Wall-E [2008]

Wall E was a major tearjerker. The movie was just beginning and I was already in tears. It was really inspiring how someone so helpless, with the power of love and friendship, could turn into a hero in the end.

Spirited Away [2003]

Spirited Away, another story of love and friendship, was also a tearjerker. In a desperate situation of returning her parents back into humans, after turning into pigs, QiaoXun's (correct me if my copy's subtitle's wrong, teehee) only hope was her new found friend Bai Long. The story had interesting twists (QiaoXun ended up saving Bai Long in the end). The animation was also superb, a lot of talent and art went into the making of this film.

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride [2005]

Corpse Bride. I wasn't able to get a copy of the Nightmare Before Christmas, so I ended up getting a copy of another Tim Burton film, Corpse Bride. Victor was about to be married to Victoria but he couldn't say his vows right, so after the wedding rehearsal he practiced reciting them in the woods. He finally got them right and even practiced putting the ring on a finger-shaped twig. Unfortunately, it was a real finger of a dead bride. Emily took him "downstairs" and Victor's predicament began.

I was also intending to watch Ratatouille,and Yobi (Five-Tailed Fox), a Korean animation but unfortunately, I still have a lot of school work to make, so maybe next weekend?? Teehee. I love long weekends. o_0

Yeah, I see what the problem is with making a statement like that, but mostly I think it's kind of adorable that he sat there re-sizing jpeg files on his laptop and uploading them individually to his blog.

Some pretty cool things on etsy...

When I'm browsing through etsy, I fave the items that inspire me... Below are some recent faves that I found.

This past week I was working on all those paintings to send to that gallery and also dealing with more back trouble, so I've been getting over that carefully. I leaned over to pick something up and I felt that dreaded pinching sensation in my back again a few days ago, and I also picked up my 2 year old nephew that weighs about 30 lbs. I was definitely feeling the pressure in my back again and it made me paranoid and it started making my back tense up. I went swimming yesterday, which helped a lot... and I've been using menthol back patches and my back massager. I also took a muscle relaxer last night, so today when I woke up, I felt drained.

But anyway, I'm getting off my main intention of this post... I was going through some fave items and thought I would share them here!

All our lives we chase the night like it's never-ending, you the sun and I the moon.

I'm so glad he's back. He really is my soulmate. He actually said to me today,"I feel like I've loved you for thousands of years." It moved me to tears. I'm not afraid of losing him anymore because I now realize that there is nothing stronger than what holds us together. I feel safe now, knowing that if I ever lose him, we'll soon find each other again. Whether in this life, or what lies after. Just as we have before.

But I'm sure you're not interested in my mush. XD

I have an appointment with my dentist tomorrow at five. Before then, I'm probably going to be putting away lots of laundry, and making my ripped-knee pants really cute. And making another green smoothie.

Me and Niki made our very first green smoothie two days ago! ^-^ And it was DELICIOUS! We're amazing. And Chris is insane for not liking berries. But he likes other fruit, so I won't get angry. XD

The one I made today had:

1 apple
1 nectarine
1 handful of blueberries
1 tbs coconut oil
1 metric shit-ton greens

It wasn't as sweet as I was hoping, but that's because I saved half of my blueberries for today, so it's easily fixable. And my blender can get rid of all the colorful bits. But since it's old, it gets hot easily and makes my smoothie kind of warm, which I dislike. But, overall, it was good. Definitely like the coconut oil in there. But I wouldn't add more than a tablespoon because it overpowers the other fruit flavors a bit. I missed the banana. But it still had a nice, creamy texture without it. I was concerned about that.

I'm also going to apply at Giant Beagle, since I go there so much. And maybe that one Azn Fewd place by the nail place where the azns work. XD A place within walking distance to Niki's would be neat 'cause I wouldn't have to avoid scheduling peep hangs on days I have to work. Plus I could probably get me and Niki discounts on organic numnums and pokeymanz. I'm getting Niki a booster pack when I get my first paycheck. She's bought me way too much stuff. All those candy bars. XD

I also had a surprisingly long conversation with Nick (Niki's boyfriend) after she fell asleep. It was funny, because I've never really talked to him before, but we discussed at length the two taboo conversation topics... religion and politics, and really nothing else. Besides a bit about smoking, careers, and his mom, and Uncle Joe. Niki fell asleep around 6am, and we didn't finish talking until after 8am. About religion and politics. LMFAO It's funny how the most controversial things are anything but when open-minded people discuss them, even if they've never talked before. He taught me about how the new world order is gonna kick our asses, and I taught him about how cool and not evil paganism is. XD CPS FTW!

Also. Niki, are you working Saturday? During the party? Pliss let me know.

Today is pizza day.
Little T and I are making pizza today. Well, that's not entirely correct. We're making sauce and dough we might be putting it together tomorrow. All depends on the Terrorist's availability and want of delicious homemade pizza. (Schedules are a bit crazy this week.)

I haven't made homemade pizza since I was like 9. My dad and I used to make it together.
I hope it comes out well.

The question of the day today is about reconnecting with someone (anyone) from your past. Who and why? Something like that.

I have NO IDEA.

BUT...It got me thinking about one of my high-school friends. Marie.
Marie was fabulous. She was one of my few girl crushes.

I found her a year or so ago on myspace and added her. Since then we've occasionally commented each other but it was more of the initial... "Hey how the hell ya been since high school?" thing. And really nothing since then.
This girl was amazing in high-school. She was cute and fun and funky and completely open minded and all the stuff that I wanted to be (or do).

The other day she posted a bulletin that made me very sad.
Apparently she's a McCain fan.
I'm not political at all. And unless I'm hanging out with the Terrorist a lot and listening to his political talk radio with him I have basically no idea what's going on in the world of politics.
But McCain? Really?
Common Marie!

It made me so sad. Then I realized that some of our common friends (all from high-school) are McCain supporters.

I shouldn't be surprised. I grew up in rural Maine. (And since Marie has joined the military and moved to Utah.) These people haven't seen much of the world outside of their little narrow view. (Aside from Marie, who, obviously hasn't gained much of a world view.)

I think I need to delete them.
She was so great though!!!
Ugh.

I need to go get in the shower. It's getting late.
(That's fucking absurd that I think 930am is late.)

No. Every single time she has her girlfriends over, she has to hook this trailer of torture up to that electric Jeep, chases me down with all sorts of lovey-dovey sounds, and then SHOVES me in here! Do I look happy? Do I act as though I can't wait to go on this ride? My fur gets all mussed up, there's no room to comfortably place my head, and all I hear is this laughter as she's pointing me out to her friends! I thought only immature children acted this way.
