Show us something striped. I took this picture in Skagway, Alaska a couple of years ago. The light stripes are the result of avalanches. The snow knocks the trees down and lighter coloured bushes grow in their place. The bears eat the berries that grow on the bushes. It's all very "cycle-of-life".
Sometimes it really sucks to live in Alaska. I can't even count all the times I've tried to buy something, only to be told that 'Alaskan residents' are off limits. Or the many times I've tried to buy something during a 'free shipping' promotion only to be told that once again, Alaska isn't eligible....
