You Don't Mess With The Zohan Review

Standard Sandler fair. That's the best way to sum up this movie. Not bad by any means just a return to the traditional Adam Sandler slapstick. You can expect all your crude humor, your clearly visiable running gags, your simple and sweet premise, and don't you also have the always needed Celebrity cameos that you've either come to love or depise.

While this film isn't anything we haven't seen from Sandler and crew before Zohan is consistenly entertaining 2/3 of the way. But eventually suffers due to lack of quality supporting characters to carry the load. Zohan is basically a one man show, showing off the SuperMan-esque abilities of Zohan.

The film doesn't let Realism get in it's way at any point. and while this provides laughs at first it wears thin over the course of the film's nearly 2 hour running time. Lucky the film ends in just enough time before wearing out its welcome.

This is only a must see if your a Die Hard Sandler fan, if not wait for the Dvd.

idk wuy i did that....other than I SAW ADAM TODAY!!!!!!! He moved out the DAY b4 graduation well....so i havent seen him since about 4 months b4 that...wellllll today that changed!! He was back to get alot of his stuff and soo i got to hang out with him! WOOT!!! Other than the fact tha tgewneth was not leaving us alone it was ok. ^_^ He looks yummier though....hehehehe

BUT ANYWAY!!!! I walked almost 8 miles today!! The reason it didn't make 8 or more if because Leigh (Gwenegths mom) Went out to get us so she kinda saved us about 2 miles away from home. I guess she came over to tlak to mom and dad told her we had to walk into town to get my parents some ciggretts a while ago. (The reason we had to walk is because the car takes a code so that it will start it is there until we pay off the car payment well...there was noone there today that knew how to give us the code...so our car is useless until monday...) so leigh i guess went to get us. She went clean into town lol she had paeed us while we were at a gas station about 4 or 5 miles from home. So she didnt get us until we headed back. It was SUPA hot to...but i wasent bout to have mom do it herself. So it's coolio. OOOHH yah and check this out...zack did this. we were playing Yu-gi-oh together (no onot the online version i will post a blog on Mint Freak about how we did it) and he had been going on and on how i would never beet him tha the was da masta and tha ti wount beet him and all that shit look at this.

Zack is a Jackass fo rthis....

WTF IS THAT SHIT?!?!?! I was about to kick his ass and what does he do? He disconnects (AKA he shut the game off...) WHAT A JACK ASS!! OMFG am i mad at him...T_T.... but what eva....i think ima go play for a while <333 much love to da himmies

CastGrabber

The CastGrabber is an ethernet-enabled dock which downloads your favourite podcasts straight on to your USB MP3 Player, without connecting the player directly to a PC, after some initial configuration - although the CastGrabber itself still needs to be connected to your PC.

CastGrabber Connections

Connect the CastGrabber to AC power and to a router (using the AC adapter and ethernet cable provided). The CastGrabber will check for its latest updated software after which it will display a solid green LED light. Connect your MP3 Player to the back of the dock using the USB cable that comes with your music player. An introductory CastGrabber Podcast is downloaded to the player, whose "song title" is your registration key. On your computer, go to the CastGrabber website to register your player using the registration key and to open your own account/profile.

To download podcast for iPods, just subscribe to podcasts on iTunes, and sync your iPod with iTunes. In future, as soon as you connect the iPod to the CastGrabber, your podcasts will be downloaded directly to the iPod.

For other MP3 Players, you can subscribe to podcasts on the CastGrabber website.

If you want the CastGrabber to sync your MP3 Player (including iPods) with your music library on the PC, you need to download extra software (PC only) from their website. Automatic synchronisation will take place once the music player is connected to the CastGrabber.

After synchronisation, you can disconnect the MP3 Player by pressing the "Eject" button on the CastGrabber. When connected, the MP3 Player will also be charged through the CastGrabber.

The CastGrabber does not work with Macs, the iPod Touch, the iPhone, Mac-formatted iPods, or the Sony PSP.

Podcast Statistics
According to Dick, 17,000 podcasts come out each week, but if you don't want one done by Leo, there is a choice of about 3. Leo's mum doesn't listen to any of Leo's netcasts, although Mrs Laporte Senior has watched one of his todcasts.

Leo's Brain Tonic
Leo has been drinking his brain tonic, which may account for lack of clarity in recent episodes. Dick has a slogan for the stuff, "The dumber you are, the better we taste."

Another Thursday Theme
Dick thinks that Dan Lueders has done a Thursday theme for DGW, although it's been misplaced at the moment (which seems to happen more often than not with Dan's emails). On the other hand, it may be the "Disclaimer" theme which Dan talked about during GizWizLive.

PalmPilot Professional
At Dick's invitation in Episode 590, Steve Miller, a gadget hound himself and regular correspondent (Episodes 279, 376, 459, 499), writes in to tell Dick that he still has his PalmPilot Professional, and when he got it out of his own Gadget Warehouse, put in new batteries, it still worked.

GizWizLive
Dick says, "I'll be there," for GizWizLive, and Episode 600, filmed during GizWizLive, should be available as a video download, if Leo keeps his word.

Bad news/good news

Mosh has stolen (borrowed) my lappy for a press trip so I only have my humble dilberry to post on at home for the next couple of days.
He is threatening to sabotage my blog, facebook, flickr etc as all my settings are saved on the stolen (borrowed) lappy. So ignore anything out of character...
But the good news is my brand spanking new MacBook is on order and should arrive next week. Hurray.
Once again Adam gave me my computer shopping list and much to Mosh's amusement until I get it home to play with all I know is it is the middle one in the range with the bigger hard drive (insert pun here).
Mosh is buying my old lappy off me so hopefully I'll never be left with just the dilberry ever again...

Edit: Ha! Have just changed my password so all's safe and well for the time being...
