1. She really, really wants to be president, and, true to form, still won't officially concede now that her chances are nil. 2. She openly speculated that — god forbid, of course — Obama could be assassinated. 3. Re: the vice-presidency: "I'm open to it," she told reporters yesterday. Now circle back to fact number one. Do you detect the makings of a real-life Manchurian Candidate here? I presume Obama will be wiser than to pick for his running mate the same pro-war, stop-at-nothing, stoop-to-anything careerist who's tried to sabotage his campaign with a generous selection of smears and falsehoods from the Rove playbook — if for no other reason than that he'd have to hire a full-time food taster.
