Over 160 pages detailing the work of married French sculptors Claude and Françoise-Xavier Lalannes. Their work is figurative and also a bit magical and surreal. Their work is full of beautiful mixtures of organic shapes such as apples with lips or cabbages with bird feet.
A great guide demonstrating different surface textures and how to achieve them. Includes textural techniques for stone, wood, plaster, metal, fired clay, plaster, resin, and cement. I am excited to apply these great ideas to my upcoming projects.
