This is a great story about a man who, as literally as he can, lives by the bible. It's very comedic but real life as well. As a note, written by a man who thinks he is as Jewish as Olive Garden is Italian.

A modern-day Mary Magdelene story. There is a lot of abuse and then rescue in this story. I can't say it's my favorite by this author, but it was a good story and I'm glad I read it.

NASB MacArthur Study Bible

I asked my wife for this Study Bible for Christmas and she did get it for me. The quantity of notes from a pretty solid teacher has assisted me greatly in my study. It is thought provoking and leads me to look at related Scripture. Also, in my opinion, the NASB is one of the better translations for accuracy combined with understandable language.
