Struggling with this format

Here are some more..... Some obstacles along the way... This little fella (a chameleon) was very nearly squashed but in the end we made friends. And we met some more reptiles at one of our campsites. We think Hermione may have photographed a new species of this handsome creature. This deadly puff adder got way too close to camp for...

On the Road Again

Monday, Oct. 11th: We were packed and ready to leave by 7:00 A.M. headed WEST! Today is Columbus Day and there is less traffic! Yea! We headed down I-95 toward New York, it is a beautiful drive, especially crossing the Hudson at White Plains, NY! Breathtaking! On to New Jersey and Pennsylvania! We arrived in Portersville, PA for a quick overnight stay at Bear Run campground. The drive th...

ARASHI MARKS ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 IN TAIPEI DAY 01

My entries will be more of a trip report than just a concert report because... I actually cannot remember what mostly happened due to having to concentrate on so many things at one time but I will try my best. For those in my LJ, you know where to find the pictures. The night before my flight, I could barely sleep. I came back from class, did some final packing and while talking to those girls...

QotW: Blast Off

If they made it financially feasible to travel into space, would you do it? Probably not, it seems like quite a roller coaster and I don't really like roller coasters. Sure, it would be amazing - but you'd go up and float around in the cabin and come back down, right? It would have to be really financially feasible for me to do it.

[learning about other cultures can be eye opening]

Last night I watched a repeat of a episode of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations show where he went to Saudi Arabia. I know people have a certain image of Saudi Arabia but it got turned on its head. What we know about Saudi Arabia is,quite frankly, wrong. They do a lot of the same stuff we do-hell, they have the same HUGE malls like we do.They go out for fast food. And they're funny!Saudis h...

What's interesting is that the main three parties have also truing the the social media like their counterparts down south. You can follow J...

Obama: Is he a citizen?

A McCain supporter described Barack Obama as "non-citizen" and asked the media to look into his citizenship. Obama was born in Hawaii, a U.S. state, on August 4, 1961 and is indeed a U.S. citizen. McCain, however, was born in the Panama Canal Zone and has been the subject of constitutional debate around the definition of "natural born citizen." Filmed by Chuck Olsen in Lakeville, MN.

Tell McCain to End the Politics of Hate

Sign the petition: http://therealmccain.com/mob We'd like to talk about the pressing issues facing our country: the woeful economy, rising unemployment, the housing crisis, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But we can't talk about them because John McCain and Sarah Palin have distracted us with the politics of hate and fear. Instead of discussing the real issues plaguing Americans, McCain...

Obama and widespread vote fraud

ACORN endorsed Obama on Feb. 21, 2008, at the most critical point of the tough primary battle that pitted him against Hillary Clinton. Welcoming that endorsement, Obama said, “I’ve been fighting alongside ACORN on issues that you care about my entire career.” But now that ACORN’s alleged voter fraud activities have become public, the Illinois senator has sought to distance himself from ACOR...

Had to share this great Ad with everyone

I saw this while exercising this morning & had a great big laugh. When was the last time you saw a really funny political ad? Well, here's one you likely won't see outside of Ohio (on the air) but you can watch it on YouTube! It's from "Bring Ohio Back" I think I'm gonna donate money to them!
